| Dear Booklovers,
Duck
in to Anderson's when those April showers fall. We have so much
to offer this month on our events calendar, in addition to the
wonderful and wide selection of books filling our shelves. It's Poetry
Month, and we'll be welcoming Children's Poet Laureate Jack
Prelutsky to Naperville Central High School and Frances Richey will
visit our Naperville store to present her poignant
poetry collection inspired by her son at war.
It's
baseball season once again, and fans are welcome to come meet White Sox
great Billy Pierce and sports writer Lew Freedman. Several
celebrated children's authors will join us, including Katharine
Holabird, who stops at our Downers Grove location to celebrate 25 years
of Angelina Ballerina. Bob Harper, of TV's Biggest Loser fame, makes an appearance at our Naperville store. We're sponsoring a wonderful luncheon with Mary Roach, author of Bonk, at Tessa's Restaurant in Naperville.
And
at the end of the month, Anderson's is pleased to feature First
Lady Laura Bush, and her daughter, Jenna, at Naperville North High
School. They have teamed up to write a new children's picture
book, Read All About It! Tickets are available at Anderson's.
Please make a point to visit us soon.
Happy reading,
Your friends at Anderson's |
