Visiting all the way from Wales is Lucy Christopher with two novels, one for young adult readers and another for middle readers. Stolen, her young adult debut, follows a kidnapped teen and her gripping story of survival. (And it’s a Printz Honor book!) Her middle grade novel is Flyaway, about a bird-loving girl and a grave accident that puts her father’s life at risk. The story focuses on her determined efforts to save him, a friend and an injured swan.
