"Harry Potter is coming!  Harry Potter is coming!  And he's bringing his magic with him!  Beginning at 10:00 pm on Friday, June 15, downtown Downers Grove will be transformed into Diagon Alley as we prepare for Harry's arrival, scheduled for 12:01 am on Saturday, July 16.

 

To keep our wizards, witches and muggles entertained while they wait for Harry all sorts of activities and games are being planned.  Professor Treulani will be here to tell fortunes; transform yourself in our face painting stations; dare to join in on a Bertie Bot tasting; test your Harry Potter knowledge in our Trivia Contest; try your hand at Wizard's Chess; write your predictions on our Graffiti wall; wear your best spell-casting outfit for the Costume Contest; visit our Diagon Alley merchants; plus much more!

 

And capping it all off in both places is the distribution of
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince promptly at 12:01
