About the Author
HEIDI BEE ROEMER has long been intrigued by shape poems. Her poetry has been published in anthologies, educational journals, and numerous children's magazines. Ms. Roemer conducts poetry workshops for adults and children. She lives in Orland Park, Illinois, with her husband and two sons.
Mike Wohnoutka is the illustrator of Jack's House, Cowboy Sam and Those Confounded Secrets, and The Wizzy Foot. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Mike lives with his wife and two children in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
