Event Guidelines


Thank you for your interest in our events! We offer hundreds of author visits and other fun programming throughout the year.

We feel optimistic about the COVID numbers in our area and are adding a few live author events back to our calendar, in addition to virtual programs.  Please note the safety guidelines as described on each event's ticket page.  We ask for your cooperation in following these guidelines so we can continue to offer live events.

All events, live or virtual, require registration ahead of time. We realize that this continues to be a challenging time for many families.  When possible, we offer a variety of ticket options so that you can choose what is the best fit for you right now.

Most events are run by our team through EventCombo. Once you are registered and/or have purchased your ticket for a virtual event, you'll receive a Zoom meeting link via email the day of the event. If we are the bookseller for a partnered virtual author event, we'll do our best to provide as much information as we can on our dedicated event page.

Please note that all events follow the author's and publisher's wishes and may mean virtual meeting formats will differ and may be limits on the number of signed books. Anderson's Bookshop is not responsible for changes made by the author to the guidelines prior to or during the event. Your understanding is appreciated.  

Please note that event tickets are non-refundable.

Please carefully note the event start time and plan to be online before that time. 

Featured books will be shipped out or available for pick-up starting the next business day after the event in most cases. For some of our partnered events, it may take a little longer, but we will communicate with all attendess as best we can.  Thank you for your patience.
