A powerful memoir from a young sexual abuse survivor. As a high school freshman at an East Coast private boarding school, Chessy Prout was sexually assaulted during a school ritual. She bravely came forward to report the trauma and after facing unexpected backlash from her once-trusted school community, she launched a campaign to help empower fellow survivors. Co-author and Boston Globe reporter (also from the “Spotlight” team) Jenn Abelson moderates this special program discussing Prout’s book, I Have the Right To.
There are two types of tickets: A FREE ticket that admits one person to the event ---OR--- A $21 ticket that admits one person AND includes a copy of Chessy's book, "I Have the Right To." If you choose this option, you will pick up your book at the event. They will not be available for pick up before that time. More details can be found at the "Get Tickets" link above.
