Did you know that one of the most popular people on YouTube doesn't have a book yet? It's true! I guess making videos for over 18 million subscribers keeps you kind of busy. But soon, Ryan Higa (whose Twitter bio reads: that asian on youtube) will be making the leap from screen to page with his unconventional, irreverent, yet heartfelt memoir inspired by his Draw My Life video, which has been viewed over 27 million times.

Ryan's fans (aka higaholics) (aka lamps) will flock to his first book and won't be disappointed. And people who've never heard of him will find his story of overcoming bullying inspiring.
Join us for a special event to celebrate "How To Write Good!" Your ticket includes a pre-signed copy of the new book and admission to the photo line.

This is a photo line event.  Each fan in line must purchase a ticket (which includes a copy of the book) in order to attend. Books purchased at other vendors are not permitted.
Your ticket number/seat number is your reserved place in the signing line.  You will line up in order of that number and then get to meet Ryan and have a quick picture taken.  This order is not based on when you arrive!  Please carefully note the event start time and plan to arrive before that time.  We cannot guarantee the length of time that any author will be with us.

Here's what you get with each ticket:

  • Admittance for one fan (any accompanying parent does not need a ticket)
  • A copy of the new book, pre-signed and handed to you when you arrive
  • A reserved place in the photo line and a photo of you and Ryan

Here's what you shouldn't expect:

  • A personalization (your name in the book)
  • An autograph in the book that you bought elsewhere
  • An autograph on any memorabilia
  • A presentation or book talk
