Mock Caldecott
The Randolph Caldecott Medal is awarded annually to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children. Our expert children's literature team has selected15 of the best in illustrated picture books this year.
For the Mock Caldecott, we have created a unit plan and resources to guide you in sharing the joy of picture books and art analysis with your students. Participation and Voting Information
Our voting will take place in January, prior to the Caldecott Award announcement at the American Library Association's Youth Media Awards on January 30, 2023. To participate in voting, we require the complete Mock Caldecott set or partial set (10+ books) be purchased from Anderson’s. Special discounts apply.
