Calling all creative book lovers!

Anderson’s Bookshops is seeking a graphic designer/webmaster to join our marketing team.  This is a part-time position based in our Naperville location, approximately 30 hours a week.  Days and times are flexible.

Our marketing team is looking to add a friendly, imaginative, and flexible designer to our team!  We love books and want to share them with our customers in fun and creative ways.  We’re looking for an independent, small business focused person with some retail experience.  If you are a whiz with Adobe Creative Cloud and are looking for something part-time with great perks, we’d love to talk to you!

Responsibilities include:
Graphic design of all materials for our stores and book fair company, including print, web and social media collateral
Work with the rest of the marketing team to create and schedule social media posts and ads
Analysis of online traffic, sales, and social media data
Management and maintenance of three websites, including all digital graphic design
Maintain online presence including Google business pages, Yelp, and social media as needed
Work with printers to source print collateral
Collaboration with our events, publicity, and marketing team to create and implement promotions and strategies that help share books and authors and why we love them

3+ years of experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
3+ years of experience with CMS-based websites (we use Drupal 7)
Familiarity with using FTPs
Print production and file management experience
Understanding of Google Analytics, HTML and CSS a plus
